These button earrings are signed “Art Deco 89” and marked “B291”. They are clip-ons with a sliver-tone back. I wore them this weekend to gala with a lacy black dress, and this black enamel bracelet. The earrings and bracelet are not a matched set, as the bracelet (which is unsigned) has a gold-tone backing, and the earrings are silver-tone on the back side. But since the silver and gold tones are primarily on the back of the jewelry, I decided I could pull it off.
The effect was definitely understated. I considered sporting these shoulder-duster earrings instead, but I wasn’t feeling bold enough, so I went sedate!
