My mom has never been a big wearer of jewelry, a pair of earrings here, a necklace there, but always wearing her wedding ring. This is a piece of jewelry that in 29 years I have never seen off of my mothers finger. She works in the garden with it, does dishes, gives the dogs a bath, and goes to parties with it on. Sometimes it sparkles more often it is caked with the days goo, but it is always beautiful and special to her.
