The Pearl Necklace

Throughout my childhood I would always go through my mom’s jewelery box whenever I had the chance and was ready to dress up and play. My mom had a lot of jewelery to choose from, but the one piece I remember the most was her pearl necklace. She received it from her grandmother and eventually she passed it on to me. Whenever I picked it up I always had to try it on and look in the mirror. This necklace made me feel special and it reminds me of the fun times of my childhood.
